In light of recent U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) guidelines changes and adoption by multiple state boards of pharmacy, Rood and Riddle Veterinary Pharmacy is committed to keeping veterinarians and customers informed. Under these revised guidelines, Rood and Riddle Veterinary Pharmacy is required to comply with new industry regulations and Beyond-Use Dates (BUDs).
USP sets the standards and establishes guidelines for compounding pharmacies like ours to follow. Although USP is not a regulatory body, many state boards have adopted these guidelines. Over the last few years, Rood & Riddle Veterinary Pharmacy has been preparing for these changes to ensure continued access to the compounded preparations your animals need. While each compounded formula has its unique circumstances and BUDs set forth by these changes, our team is dedicated to helping our practitioners and customers navigate these changes.

- Due to increased monitoring and documentation, lead times may increase. Consider enrolling in Auto-Ship when feasible.
