West Nile-Innovator® vaccines help protect against viremia caused by West Nile virus: equine encephalomyelitis due to Eastern, Western and Venezuelan viruses; and tetanus.
West Nile virus is fatal in 33% of horses that exhibit clinical signs of the disease.1 Vaccination is the most effective way to help protect horses against West Nile virus and other mosquito-borne diseases, such as Eastern equine encephalomyelitis (EEE) virus and Western equine encephalomyelitis (WEE) virus. In a study, vaccinated horses were 30 times less likely to contract West Nile virus.2
Indications
- West Nile-Innovator + EWT is for the vaccination of healthy horses 10 months of age or older to help protect against viremia caused by West Nile virus, and equine encephalomyelitis due to Eastern and Western viruses, and tetanus.
- All 4 West Nile-Innovator products are safe for use in pregnant mares during the 3rd trimester.
