This compounded topical sweat is commonly prescribed as a sweat. It contains both Nitrofurazone, Methylsalicylate and DMSO which are commonly used to pull fluid out of tissue which results in decreased inflammation and discomfort. Because inflammation and swelling can damage tissues and cause discomfort, your veterinarian may prescribe a “sweat” bandage as an aid in reducing fluid build-up in the legs
