The MDI (Metered Dose Inhaler) adaptor is used when medications are administered to the horse using Metered Dose Inhalers. This part attaches to the top of the aerosol holding chamber (replacing the med cup). It is recommended that the aerosol holding chamber be rotated 90 degrees when used with Metered Dose Inhalers.
Using the MDI:
- Remove the controller, cable, and med cup.
- Plug the supplied adaptor into the inlet valve on top of the aerosol chamber.
- Rotate the aerosol chamber to the horizontal position.
- Insert the MDI and administer medication following your veterinarian’s advice.
