Polyglycan® is a patented formulation of hyaluronic acid, sodium chondroitin sulfate, and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine in a highly viscous aqueous solution for use in horses and dogs. Glucosaminoglycans are important components of extracellular tissue structures, including cartilage and synovial fluid. Polyglycan® is indicated for the replacement of lost or damaged synovial fluid. Polyglycan® contains naturally occurring components of the synovia that play a central part in maintaining the homeostatic environment of the joint.
