Allopurinol is a xanthine oxidase inhibitor. It is commonly prescribed to decrease the formation of bladder and kidney stones in dogs and cats caused by high concentrations of uric acid.  It can also be used for gout in birds and reptiles. 


Each compounded capsule contains 75mg of allopruinol. Additional strengths can be available upon request.
